Job summary

Verition is seeking an Operations Specialist to join the Middle Office, coordinating with portfolio managers, traders and brokers to ensure timely trade confirmations and settlements. The role spans the trade lifecycle across equities, fixed income, derivatives, FX, and more, with close collaboration to Risk, Technology, and Fund Accounting.

You will support trade bookings, reconciliations, and P&L inquiries, while identifying process improvements and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Knowledge of financial instruments (eqs, fixed income, options, swaps, futures, FX).
• Experience with middle-office trade lifecycle processes.
• Familiarity with OSTTRA, Trax, Orchestrade, Geneva, Bloomberg is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize daily tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage trade lifecycle events across multiple asset classes (equities, derivatives, FX, FI).
• Assist with trade bookings, lifecycle events, and P&L inquiries.
• Process trade allocations, affirmations, settlements, and exercises.
• Advise MO/Valuations/Cash Rec on corporate actions.
• Monitor broker portals and administrator systems for trades.
