Job summary

Jetline Construction Co., Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a Building Services Coordinator to manage coordination of MEP systems across construction projects. The role involves liaising between design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure proper integration, installation and commissioning.

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering, have strong interpretation of drawings, and experience with BIM and project management software.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or related field.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and their building integration.
• Familiarity with HK building codes and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience with PM software and BIM tools is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with proactive approach.
• Construction coordination or engineering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation, testing, and commissioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire safety systems.
• Liaise with design engineers, contractors, and clients to align on technical specs.
• Review drawings, specifications and schedules to identify conflicts.
• Monitor progress against timelines and budgets on site.
• Conduct site inspections and prepare progress reports.
• Maintain documentation including as-built drawings and commissioning records.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Support resolution of technical issues and coordinate remedial works.
• Assist in project scheduling and resource planning for building services activities.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders and provide progress updates.
