Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club in Sha Tin is seeking a Customer Service Officer to support Members Services via a 7-day operation schedule. You will handle inquiries, reservations for raceday and non-raceday events, and provide mobile app assistance in line with Club policies.

You should have a university degree and at least 1 year in service, with Cantonese and English fluency. Proficiency in MS Office and Chinese typing is preferred; training awaits in a dynamic, community-focused environment at

Qualifications

• University degree is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in the service industry.
• Experience with a Customer Management System is preferred.
• Fluency in spoken Cantonese and English; written English proficiency.
• Knowledge of Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide services and support via 7-day operation hours in Members Services Hotline and drive telesales initiatives.
• Address members' general inquiries, handle raceday and non-raceday reservations, and provide mobile app support.
• Coordinate with internal colleagues to ensure Members' needs are met and followed up.
• Record and follow Members' feedback and complaints promptly.
• Accept duties assigned by the Line Manager(s).

The Department

The Membership Services Department plays an essential role in providing co-ordination and administrative support, and amenities to the Club's 29,000 Members and their families.

The Job

• To provide services and support by 7-day operation hours in Members Services Hotline and perform telesales activities within appropriate timelines to drive initiatives of different programmes.
• To address members' general inquiries, perform raceday and non-raceday reservations and provide mobile app technical support in accordance with the Club's standard policies and procedures.
• To communicate with the internal colleagues to ensure that Members' needs are being handled and followed-up.
• To record and follow Members' feedbacks and complaints timely.
• To accept the duties which assigned by the Line Manager(s).

About You

• A university degree holder with minimum 1-year experience in service industry.
• Experience in Call Centre is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Customer Management System.
• Strong co-ordination skills with fluency in spoken Cantonese and English and in written English.
• Knowledge in written Chinese and spoken Mandarin is an advantage.
• Hands-on experience of MS Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
• Chinese typing is preferable.
