Job summary

The Hong Kong Jockey Club is seeking an experienced Events Sales professional to support daily event sales across Clubhouses and Racecourses. You will handle inquiries, proposals, quotations, and bookings while driving telemarketing and sales initiatives to meet targets and strengthen member relations.

The Division - Membership & Customer Excellence (MCE)

The Membership and Customer Excellence (MCE) Division is responsible for delivering world-class experiences and deepening engagement across all customer segments. The team oversees operations of clubhouses, racecourses, and Off-Course Betting Branches (OCBBs), while enhancing member and owner value propositions and promoting interest in horse ownership and equestrian sports. It leads the Club's customer experience strategy across digital and physical touchpoints, ensuring consistency, agility, and excellence. The Division also manages data strategy and governance to build a unified view of customers, enabling more personalised and impactful interactions.

The Job

You will:

1. 1. Assist the Events Sales & Marketing Manager in the daily event sales with excellent service quality across Clubhouses & Racecourses, the Events Sales functions as specified:
2. Handle incoming calls, enquiries, follow up on quotations, proposal, table booking agreement
3. Conduct Telemarketing calls / Sales calls / Marketing Initiatives / Promotional Events in order to achieve budgetary financial individual and team targets and strengthen work relationship with Members
4. Maintain standards, monitoring guests’ satisfaction and achieving set objectives
5. Support the Club in maximizing events’ business including Banquet events, Table bookings in Banquet, Business Unit Events in Banquet and cross-promote other areas

7. 2. Maintaining and managing the resources and assets:
8. 3. Initiate requisitions while adhering to the budgeted expenses equipment, furniture and fixtures
9. 4. Bring new ideas in products and services improvements
10. 5. Deliver high service excellence and business performance
11. 6. Perform any other related duties as and when assigned by the supervisor

About You

You should have:

• A university degree or higher diploma in Hospitality Management from a leading hospitality institution
• A minimum of 6 years of related experience for Events Sales Manager; 4 years of related experience for Assistant Events Sales Manager in a sizable and premium hospitality operation
• International hospitality experience is preferred
• Excellent people management practices with good communication skillsFluency in Cantonese and English. Mandarin proficiency is an advantage
• Supervisory experience in the field of Event Management
