Job summary

Dentsu in Hong Kong is seeking an entry-level Media Planner to support the development of strategic, integrated media plans and oversee the process from briefing to post-buy. You will assist with campaign execution, trafficking and KPI evaluation, conduct competitive analyses, and collaborate with media partners while building strong relationships with clients in a fast-paced environment.

• 1 year of relevant experience in marketing or media planning.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; strong numeracy.
• Ability to build internal and external relationships.
• Ability to cope with pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passionate about media innovation and data insights.
• Self-learner with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic and integrated media plans and monitor from briefing to post-buy.
• Support campaign execution, trafficking, status checks and KPI evaluations.
• Conduct competitive analyses and reports to drive KPI improvements.
• Negotiate with media partners to secure the best pricing for the client.
• Be the client’s first point of contact and manage daily account activities.
• Use planning tools to derive insights from data.
• Adapt to Hong Kong's evolving media landscape.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Work closely with supervisor to develop strategic and integrated media planning & recommendations, implement media plans and monitor the whole process from briefing to post buy
• Support on campaign execution, inclusive of trafficking, monitoring campaign status and evaluating campaign performance based on agreed KPIs and media efficiencies
• Conduct competitive analysis and regular reports and deduce actions from learnings and insights to achieve campaign KPI
• Work closely with the external media partners and media vendors to ensure the best price is offered to the client through effective negotiation
• Learn to become client’s first point of contact and handle the day-to-day management of the accounts
• Utilizing various propriety planning tools to generate learning and insight from data
• Learn and adapt to the evolving media landscape in HongKong on an ongoing basis

Requirements

• Associate degree or above in any discipline, major in Marketing or Media would be an advantage, with 1 year of relevant experience
• Fluent in English and Cantonese, with strong written and spoken communication skills; Mandarin proficiency would be an advantage
• Good PC skill, and proficiency in the full suite of Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to build relationship internally and externally
• Ability to cope with pressure and manage multi-task well in a fast-paced environment as an active team player
• Passionate in media innovation and data insights
• Self-learner, strong attention to detail and being numerate
