Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong seeks a Product Support & Services Associate to support margin risk management for the International Prime Brokerage business. You will monitor client exposures, manage operational risk and partner with stakeholders to deliver industry-leading margin and risk solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and draw risk-focused conclusions with strong numerical skills.
• Understanding of Prime brokerage, hedge fund operations, derivatives, margin or collateral management processes.
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with senior stakeholders and clients.
• Experience in navigating complex markets and maintaining robust controls.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Risk, Sales and Trading teams to provide margin financing quotes for prospective opportunities.
• Collaborate with Risk, Strats and Technology teams to develop, stress test and implement margin lending models.
• Perform exposure analysis across client portfolios to identify and elevate risks.
• Attend client meetings and margin workshops to explain margin methodologies and reporting capabilities.
• Monitor client positions, valuations and margin requirements to ensure compliance with policies.
• Issue margin calls, monitor coverage and investigate exceptions promptly.
• Analyze portfolio activity and trading behavior to identify risks and inconsistencies.
• Work with Clients, Risk Management, Account Manager and Technology teams to maintain an controlled operating environment.
• Drive strategic changes and process improvements with global Margin and MORS teams.
