Job summary

Osmium Consulting Group Limited in Hong Kong seeks a senior risk and margin financing specialist to oversee growth in wealth management financing and risk controls. You will monitor daily margin exposure, optimize collateral frameworks, and collaborate with RMs and Sales to resolve deficits while shaping policy and bespoke lending solutions for UHNW clients.

Deep knowledge of equity markets, derivatives, and cross-border financing, with fluency in English and Mandarin to engage regional

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher is required.
At least 5 years in financial services with margin financing or SBL exposure.
Experience in 1LoD control, credit risk analysis, or credit approval is preferred.
Strong HK/US equity market knowledge and risk of margin trading and derivatives.
Fluent in English and Mandarin for regional interaction.

Responsibilities

Facilitate and optimize wealth management financing limits and margin ratio applications; conduct rigorous internal risk analyses.
Monitor daily margin exposure, asset concentration, and portfolio liquidity across UHNW client accounts.
Collaborate with Relationship Managers and Sales to resolve margin deficits and collateral shortfalls.
Formulate and upgrade internal margin financing policies, haircut frameworks, and guidelines.
Lead bespoke margin loan negotiations with internal stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Risk Management, and Operations.
Explore equity financing frameworks and OTC derivative-backed structures, including TRS and Repo.
