The Hongkong Electric Co., Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Safety Manager to lead daily safety and training operations at Lamma Power Station.

You will establish an in-house safety system, conduct accident investigations, risk assessments and audits, and prepare annual objectives and budgets. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Safety and have 8+ years in the power industry with supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Safety or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in power industry with supervisory role.
• Registered Safety Officer (RSO) / HKIE member required.
• Proficient with MS 365 and Chinese typing; good English and Chinese skills.

Responsibilities

• To establish and maintain in-house safety working system for Lamma Power Station
• To carry out accident investigations, health and safety check and audits, risk assessment and Job Safety Analysis
• To formulate annual objectives and budget proposals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Safety or related disciplines
• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in power industry with supervisory role
• A Registered Safety Officer (RSO) / member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) a must
• Good knowledge in Occupational Health & Safety management and technology
• Knowledge in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint, with Chinese typing skill
• Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
