Job summary

SearchCP is seeking a high-performing Manager to join its Financial Advisory practice in Hong Kong. You will lead buy-side and sell-side due diligence engagements for private equity, corporate investors, and banks.

Responsibilities include engagement execution, QoE analysis, deal insights, SPA support, and cross-border collaboration with international offices. Relocation and HK work visa sponsorship are offered for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA/CA/ACCA preferred.
• 5–7 years of Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Services experience in a Big 4 or top-tier firm.
• Deep knowledge of HKFRS / IFRS; strong financial modeling and Excel skills.
• Excellent communication, commercial acumen, and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Engagement Execution: Lead buy-side and sell-side FDD projects from planning to report delivery.
• Financial & QoE Analysis: Analyze historical financial performance, QoE, working capital dynamics, net debt, and cash flow trends.
• Deal Insights & SPA Support: Identify key risks/value drivers; advise on valuation, pricing, and SPA adjustments.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Prepare client-ready due diligence reports and present findings to PE investors and executives.
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Coordinate with international network offices and cross-functional teams on regional deals.
• Team Leadership: Coach, supervise, and develop junior team members.

Position Overview

SearchCP is seeking a high-performing Manager to join the growing Financial Advisory practice of a leading international professional services firm in Hong Kong.

In this role, you will execute and deliver buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence (FDD) engagements for private equity funds, strategic corporate investors, and regional financial institutions. Working alongside experienced deal partners, you will lead transaction delivery, assess core business drivers, and provide pragmatic commercial recommendations across cross-border deal structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Engagement Execution: Lead buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence projects from planning through to report delivery.
• Financial & Quality of Earnings Analysis: Analyse historical financial performance, assess quality of earnings (QoE), working capital dynamics, net debt, and cash flow trends.
• Deal Insights & SPA Support: Identify key transaction risks and value drivers to advise clients on valuation, transaction pricing, and Sale & Purchase Agreement (SPA) adjustments.
• Client & Stakeholder Management: Prepare client-ready due diligence reports and present key findings directly to PE investors and corporate executive teams.
• Cross-Border Collaboration: Work closely with international network offices and cross-functional teams (Tax, Corporate Finance, Valuation) on regional deals.
• Team Leadership: Coach, supervise, and develop junior team members to maintain high technical standards.

Key Requirements

• Educational & Professional Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification strongly preferred.
• Relevant Experience: 5 to 7 years of solid Financial Due Diligence / Transaction Services experience within a Big 4 or top-tier professional services firm.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of accounting principles (HKFRS / IFRS) and transaction dynamics, with advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Excel.
• Communication & Aptitude: Excellent analytical mindset, commercial acumen, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
