Job summary

Synpulse in Hong Kong seeks an accomplished project leader to drive end-to-end transformations for Hedge Fund, Private Equity, and Portfolio Management initiatives. You will coordinate with diverse teams and external partners to deliver complex programs on time and within scope.

The role emphasizes wealth management expertise, stakeholder leadership, and an entrepreneurial approach to guiding large-scale changes across financial services. Cantonese/English proficiency preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in finance or business.
• 8+ years of consulting, banking and large-scale implementation project management.
• Knowledge of Portfolio Management Operating Models, Asset Management, Private Equity, Hedge Fund.
• Experience with Robo Advisory and User Journey.
• Strong background in Wealth Management and Private Banking.
• Led end-to-end large-scale transformation projects.
• Analytical, structured problem-solver with quick understanding of complex situations.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and strong team leadership with client and stakeholder experience.

About the job:

1. Lead and manage full project lifecycles on topics including Hedge Fund & Private Equity products, Portfolio Management (Mutual Funds)
2. End to end project management implementation
3. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, cross functional teams including technology teams, and external vendors.
4. Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolutions.
5. Drive governance, documentation, and reporting to management and steering committees.

Job requirements

1. Bachelor's degree or higher, preferably in finance or Business
2. At least 8 years of relevant experience in consulting, banking and large-scale implementation project management, with solid knowledge of Portfolio Management Operating Models, Asset Management, Private Equity, Hedge Fund.
3. Perform Robo Advisory and User Journey
4. Strong background in Wealth Management and Private Banking
5. Led end-to-end large scale transformation projects.
6. Highly analytical and structured in problem-solving; adept at understanding complex situations quickly.
7. Possesses an entrepreneurial spirit and strong team leadership skills, with extensive experience managing people, including clients and internal stakeholders.

AI Requirement

1. Understands Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (GenAI), including their practical applications in business and technology environments, with the ability to leverage AI-enabled tools and technologies to drive innovation, productivity, and business outcomes.
2. Demonstrates the ability to effectively incorporate AI-enabled tools into consulting engagements, project management, business analysis, solution design, technology delivery, and business development activities to enhance delivery quality, efficiency, and client value.
3. Embraces emerging technologies, demonstrates an AI-first mindset, and proactively identifies opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve ways of working, accelerate innovation, and create measurable business impact for clients and the firm.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous experience as a Business Analyst in financial services industry is highly preferred.
2. Experience at a financial organization that uses private banking or wealth management products.
3. Excellent Cantonese/Mandarin/English spoken and written skills.
