Responsibilities
- Support the Director and/or Senior Manager of the team.
- Identify product gaps and/or discover new market spaces, generate new product ideas, formulate holistic new business strategies and propositions to drive innovation and business impacts by conducting market research, gathering internal and external feedback, performing feasibility assessments, and converting insights into practical customer‑centric solutions for other functional teams.
- Support strategic and ad‑hoc projects, including regulatory industry consultation and channel initiatives, by assessing business/financial impacts and formulating recommendations for PHKL management.
- Deliver high‑quality business and financial analyses for management decision‑making, prepare presentation materials for management updates, and present to senior stakeholders.
- Partner closely with various departments and teams—Actuarial, Finance, Product, Pricing, Customer & Marketing, Operations, channel management teams, frontline, etc.—to ensure alignment and cohesive execution across functions.
Requirements
- University graduate majoring in business, insurance or related curriculum.
- At least 7 years of business development experience related to local Hong Kong insurance, with a minimum of 2 years at the supervisory level.
- Product or channel management experience is preferred.
- Strong business and financial acumen with proven analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
- Solid understanding of Hong Kong life insurance products and market dynamics; frontline exposure is an advantage.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Strategic and innovative mindset with the ability to think out of the box and challenge the status quo.
- Proactive and results‑driven mindset with a focus on driving business growth.
