Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking an experienced Head of BI and Data Analytics to drive data insights and governance across HQ and regional offices. You will lead a data-driven transformation, craft KPI frameworks, and partner with IT and business leaders to unlock value from data.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive BI tool expertise, and a track record of delivering large-scale data projects in a multinational setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• At least 8 years in BI/data analytics or related roles.
• At least 3 years in a team-leader or management role.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools and data governance concepts.
• Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GC) preferred.

What you'll be doing -

• Manage BI & Data Analytics through identifying initiatives and opportunities, improve business performance through data insights.


• Develop and implement data analysis strategies that align with organizational goals.


• Define company-wide (HQ and Regional) key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for consistent measurement.


• Extract, validate, and analyze data from various internal and external sources.


• Work with business stakeholders such as key business leaders, IT teams and data engineers to achieve data-driven goals, offer value-adding advice in utilizing data to optimize efficiencies.


• Proactively communicate co-form business plans involving data collection and utilization.


• Manage and prioritize business demands according to top-level business direction, end process/benefit analysis and suggest roadmap for approval.


• Support ad hoc analysis and high-priority business requests.


• Drive adoption of a data-driven culture within the organization through training and governance initiatives.


• Ensure business requests are fully understood, documented, analyzed and validated by all parties.


• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards.


• Office base in HK and visit Overseas offices when necessary

About you:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.


• Minimum of 8 years of proven experiences in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles.


• Minimum of 3 years of proven experiences in team leader role, or related roles.


• Strong knowledge of BI and tools (such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker), data engineering, data modeling, data Warehousing, data Lakehouse and data governance concepts.


• Proven track record managing large-scale data/BI projects.


• Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable business insights


• Knowledge of cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), machine learning or advanced analytics is a advantageous.
