Samsung Electronics HK Co Ltd seeks a data-driven Business Planning & Analytics professional to drive budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analyses across product lines. You will partner with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to deliver actionable insights and robust governance reports.
The role requires 3–5 years in business planning or commercial analytics, strong Excel skills, and experience with ERP/SAP and CRM platforms. Hong Kong-based, with close liaison to HQ.
Budgeting & Sales Planning: Develop, monitor, and manage B2B revenue targets, annual business plans, sales forecasts, and operational budgets.
Financial Modeling & ROI Analysis: Build financial projection models and conduct ROI analyses across product portfolios to support sales and marketing teams in achieving revenue and profitability goals.
Market & Business Opportunity Analysis: Conduct market intelligence, competitive analysis, and vertical capacity studies to identify business growth potential and recommend actionable sales strategies.
Supply Chain & Inventory Control: Oversee SCM operations, including demand forecasting, order management, and inventory optimization to ensure seamless operational efficiency and fulfillment of sales goals.
SCM KPI Monitoring: Regularly evaluate SCM KPIs, proactively highlighting strengths, operational bottlenecks, and mitigation strategies to senior management.
Internal Business Reporting: Prepare comprehensive weekly, monthly, and quarterly business performance reports (tracking forecast vs. actuals, order volume, product performance, and sector performance).
Ad-Hoc Analytics: Deliver rapid, high-accuracy analytics and operational reports in response to management or internal audit requests.
Sales Pipeline Tracking: Manage and analyze the vertical sales pipeline for B2B sales teams, tracking conversion metrics, opportunity stages, and deal velocity across target industries.
HQ & Internal Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the strategic reporting bridge and primary point of contact for the Global HQ B2B Team, Regional Business Planning, and Internal Business Control functions.
Business Analysis & Alignment: Prepare strategic business decks, report on key business drivers, and align local vertical sales initiatives with corporate governance standards and HQ business guidelines.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Business Planning, SCM, Business Operations, or Commercial Analysis.
Strong preference for candidates with experience in Consumer Electronics, Telecom, IT, or Tech/B2B Enterprise Solutions sectors.
Proven capability to process, integrate, and manipulate large, complex datasets to extract meaningful business insights.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling, P&L estimation) and data visualization tools.
Excellent skills in synthesizing complex operational data into clear management dashboards and executive presentations.
Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills with experience liaising across matrix organization structures and HQ entities.
Strong organizational and analytical mindset with a structured approach to identifying operational risks and sales opportunities.
High adaptability, accountability, and ability to thrive in a time-sensitive, dynamic business environment.
Prior experience with enterprise B2B sales pipeline tracking and corporate governance/ business control processes.
Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP), SCM management tools, or CRM pipeline platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
