Job summary

This role works with leasing teams to market vacancies, conduct viewings, screen tenants, manage move-in/out, and prepare monthly financial and operational reports while monitoring market trends to set

Qualifications

• Experience in property and facilities management for residential portfolios.

Job description

This role encompasses operational and facilities management, tenant and community relations, leasing and marketing support, and financial and administrative management for a property or residential portfolio.

Key responsibilities

Oversee routine maintenance, regular safety inspections, and urgent repair requests

Manage vendor and contractor relationships, negotiating service agreements

Ensure strict adherence to building safety codes, environmental regulations, local housing regulations, and health and safety standards

Conduct regular property walkthroughs to ensure property aesthetics and physical conditions meet company standards

Serve as the primary point of contact for resident or tenant inquiries, concerns, and disputes

Lead move-in/move-out inspections and manage security deposit distributions

Drive tenant retention strategies, community engagement events, and lease renewal programs to foster positive resident relationships

Collaborate with leasing teams to market vacant units, schedule viewings, and minimize vacancy periods

Oversee tenant screening, credit checks, background checks, and lease preparation

Monitor local market trends to advise on competitive rental rates and lease terms

About you

Prepare, manage, and monitor annual operational and capital expenditure budgets

Oversee rent collection, manage arrears, and enforce lease agreements and fee structures

Process vendor invoices, monitor accounts payable/receivable, and compile monthly financial and operational reports
