Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 14–15 years of experience in real estate leasing or asset management.
• Solid background in retail or residential leasing.
• Direct experience in asset management is highly preferred.
• Excellent negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
• Fluent English and Cantonese; Mandarin a plus.

Responsibilities

Deputy General Manager (Asset Management)

Position: Deputy General Manager, Asset Management

We are partnering with property developer in Hong Kong. They are seeking for Deputy General Manager - Asset Management to oversee and optimize the strategic performance and asset value of property portfolio. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in retail or residential leasing, with a proven track record in driving rental yields, managing portfolio operations, and executing value-add asset enhancement initiatives. Direct experience in asset management is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Formulate and execute asset management strategies to maximize asset value, net operating income (NOI), and capital appreciation across retail/residential properties.
• Lead and oversee leasing strategies, lease renewals, tenant mix planning, and negotiations for retail or residential assets.
• Identify strategic opportunities for asset positioning, repositioning, and renovation projects to drive tenancy demand and optimize rental yields.
• Oversee annual operating budgets, revenue forecasts, capital expenditure (CapEx) planning, and financial reporting for assigned properties.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key tenants, property management teams, external agencies, and internal management.
• Monitor market trends, competitor movements, and rental rates to refine positioning and capital strategies.

Key Requirements:

• Degree holder in Real Estate, Surveying, Housing Management, Business Administration, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 14-15 years of relevant experience in real estate leasing or asset management, with proven leadership experience.
• Solid background in retail or residential leasing is strictly required. Prior direct experience in asset management is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial acumen, financial modeling capabilities, and excelente negotiation skills.
• Excellent command of English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a plus).
