Job summary

MTR Corporation Limited 香港鐵路有限公司 seeks a Senior Enterprise AI Architect to lead the AI CoE architecture, governance and delivery of scalable AI initiatives in Hong Kong. You will define roadmaps, guide solution design and drive responsible AI adoption with business and technology partners.

The role requires 8+ years in enterprise/solution architecture, leadership experience, and strong English and Chinese communication. A focus on cloud, data platforms and modern AI tools is essential.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solution or enterprise architecture or related roles with 2+ years in management.
• Experience leading enterprise AI or digital transformation initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, data architectures and modern AI tech.
• Proficient in English and Chinese, with excellent presentation skills.

Background

MTR Corporation is expanding its AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) to accelerate and scale the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Generative AI, across the Corporation. The AI CoE brings together AI governance, engineering and platform capabilities, solution development and delivery expertise to enable business teams to turn AI opportunities into measurable business value. We are looking for passionate professionals to join our growing team and help shape how MTR adopts AI responsibly, securely and at scale.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and technical guidance and governance of strategic AI and Generative AI initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives and security requirements
• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to shape AI strategies, define roadmaps, and translate complex business challenges into scalable enterprise AI solutions
• Establish and promote AI best practices, design patterns and engineering standards across the AI project portfolio for continue improvements
• Provide technical leadership and architectural oversight across the AI delivery lifecycle, from solution design and technology selection to implementation and deployment
• Drive enterprise adoption of modern AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and related AI platforms, to deliver measurable business value
• Act as a trusted technical advisor on AI architecture, engineering practices, Responsible AI, and solution optimisation
• Govern the quality and compliance of AI solutions ensuring alignment with enterprise governance frameworks
• Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, translating insights into reusable frameworks, standards, and recommendations to accelerate AI innovation

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science / Engineering / Information Technology or a related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in solution architecture, enterprise architecture, technology consulting, digital transformation, or technology delivery roles, of which 2 years should be at management level
• Possession of professional certification in a related discipline is preferred
• Proven experience in leading enterprise-scale technology, AI, Generative AI, or digital transformation initiatives from strategy and solution design through implementation and adoption
• Experience in designing and governing enterprise solutions, with knowledge of cloud platforms, integration architectures, data platforms, and modern AI technologies such as LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and model evaluation frameworks
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills with proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
