Job summary

MTR Corporation is expanding its AI Centre of Excellence to accelerate the adoption of AI, including Generative AI, across the Corporation. The Manager – AI & Digital Solutions will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate workflows into technical requirements and deliver enterprise AI solutions.

You will lead end-to-end delivery from prototype to production, establish guardrails for secure and scalable AI, and mentor engineering teams to drive responsible adoption

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on software development or AI delivery experience, including 2 years in management.
• Degree in CS/AI/DS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• Professional certification in related discipline preferred.
• Experience in AI Software Engineering, Full-stack/Platform Eng, or AI-enabled App Development & Automation.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-value AI use cases with stakeholders and translate into technical requirements and roadmaps.
• Design, develop, and implement enterprise AI solutions, including GenAI apps, AI agents, RAG solutions, APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations.
• Establish enterprise AI engineering capabilities with reusable frameworks and guardrails.
• Lead end-to-end delivery from prototype to production with DevSecOps, automation, and best practices.
• Establish AI evaluation and QA practices to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing solutions.
• Evaluate, prototype, and integrate emerging AI technologies to accelerate enterprise adoption.
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews and mentoring of engineering teams.

Background

MTR Corporation is expanding its AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) to accelerate and scale the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI), including Generative AI, across the Corporation. The AI CoE brings together AI governance, engineering and platform capabilities, solution development and delivery expertise to enable business teams to turn AI opportunities into measurable business value. We are looking for passionate professionals to join our growing team and help shape how MTR adopts AI responsibly, securely and at scale.

Responsibilities

• Work with business and technology stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and translate business workflows into technical requirements and delivery roadmaps
• Design, develop, and implement enterprise AI solutions, including GenAI applications, AI agents, RAG solutions, APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations
• Establish enterprise AI engineering capabilities, including reusable frameworks, operational guardrails, and best practices for AI and Agentic AI solutions
• Lead end-to-end delivery of AI solutions from prototype to production applying modern engineering, DevSecOps, automation, and operational best practices
• Establish AI evaluation and quality assurance practices to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performing AI solutions
• Evaluate, prototype, and integrate emerging AI technologies and platforms to accelerate enterprise AI adoption and innovation
• Provide technical leadership through code reviews, troubleshooting, solution assurance, and mentoring of engineering teams
• Identify emerging AI technologies and translate them into practical enterprise capabilities to drive continuous improvement

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science / Artificial Intelligence / Data Science / Engineering / Information Technology or a related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant hands‑on software development, AI application engineering or technical delivery experience, including substantial experience coding and implementing AI solutions, of which 2 years should be at management level
• Possession of a professional certification in a related discipline is preferred
• Proven hands‑on experience in at least two areas below:
  • AI Software Engineering
  • Full-stack and Platform Engineering
  • AI-enabled Application Development and Automation
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills with proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese
