Job summary

Hong Yip Service Co Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (E&M) to oversee building services maintenance at properties in Ap Lei Chau. You will manage the technical team, assign work orders, and conduct regular site inspections, ensuring safety and quality of work.

Strong English and Chinese communication is required. The successful candidate will have a degree in Building Services, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant experience; candidates with less experience

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Services Engineering or related field.
• 3 years' experience in building services, repair & maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and assign work orders to the technical team for routine repair and maintenance.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor progress; provide improvement recommendations.
• Handle enquiries and complaints about maintenance works and provide solutions after investigation.
• Assist in maintenance purchase and budgeting within the approved budget.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure safety during maintenance works.
• Keep records of documents including tendering and quotations.

Maintenance Engineer (E&M) – Ap Lei Chau

Approximately, 1,700 blocks are currently managed by Hong Yip and these include private housing estate, luxurious houses, commercial and industrial buildings, shopping centres and government facilities.

What you’ll be doing?

In-Charge to manage and assign work orders to the technical team to carry out routine repair and maintenance work for properties

Conduct regular site inspection to monitor the progress of maintenance works and provide recommendations for improvement

Handle enquiries and complaints about maintenance works and provide appropriate solutions after investigation

Participate in the maintenance purchase and budget proposals within the approved budget

Coordinate with all the relevant parties to ensure safety during the implementation of maintenance works

Keep proper records of all documents including tendering and quotations

Job Requirements:

Degree holder in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

3 years' relevant work experience in building services, repair & maintenance

Good communication and customer service skills

Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese

Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Maintenance Engineer
