Job summary

Deutsche Bank in Hong Kong is seeking an Analyst/Associate to join the Macro Sales team, supporting client coverage, market analysis, and trade execution across FX, rates, and macro products.

You will work with Legal, Compliance and Operations on KYC and documentation, craft market commentary and client pitches, and collaborate with Rates, FX and Structured Products desks to align opportunities with client mandates.

Qualifications

• Academic background in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a highly quantitative discipline.
• Willingness to study for and pass local regulatory licensing exams (e.g., FCA, FINRA).
• Strong knowledge of Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities (FICC).

Responsibilities

• Client Coverage & Execution Support: primary contact for institutional clients on market data, order status and electronic execution options.
• Trade Execution Support: assist with trade input, booking, and post-trade processing across assets.
• Onboarding & Lifecycle Management: coordinate KYC, ISDA, GMRA with Legal/Compliance/Operations.
• Market Analysis & Idea Generation: monitor macro data and policy shifts to generate trading ideas.
• Client Advisory Collateral: create macro recaps and tailored materials for pitches.
• Cross-Desk Collaboration: liaise with Rates, FX, and Structured Products desks to match inventory with client mandates.
