Job summary

St. Regis Hotels & Resorts in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, seeks a Chief Engineer to lead all engineering and facilities operations, ensuring safety, reliability, and asset protection of the property.

You will manage budgets and capital projects, coordinate preventative maintenance, and drive energy efficiency, while maintaining regulatory compliance and leading a skilled team. This role requires strong leadership and bilingual communication in English and Chinese.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent, building services or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred, in engineering or related field.
• 6+ years in hotel engineering with 3+ years in leadership.
• Registered Electricity Worker Grade B or above.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English & Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering operations, including building maintenance, safety, and asset protection.
• Manage budgets and capital projects, preventive maintenance, energy conservation.
• Lead emergency response for facilities.
• Supervise day-to-day engineering activities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and local regulations.
