Job summary

ADECCO is hiring a Logistics Coordinator in Hong Kong to coordinate shipments of furniture products, arrange transport, and manage documentation. You will liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, warehouses, and customers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with regulations.

The role requires 2+ years in logistics or supply chain operations, proficiency in Excel, and strong communication skills in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Native Cantonese speaker with good command of written English and spoken Mandarin.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor the shipment of furniture products from suppliers to warehouses, distribution centers, and customers.
• Arrange transportation and delivery schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, warehouses, and customers regarding shipment status and delivery arrangements.
• Prepare and process shipping documents, including purchase orders, packing lists, invoices, delivery notes, and customs documentation.
• Track shipments and resolve delivery delays, damages, and other logistics-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics costs.
• Communicate with clients to provide delivery updates and respond to logistics-related inquiries.
• Assist in negotiating transportation rates and managing relationships with logistics service providers.
• Prepare regular logistics, shipment, and inventory reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, shipping regulations, and customs requirements.

Arrange transportation and delivery schedules to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, shipping companies, warehouses, and customers regarding shipment status and delivery arrangements.

Prepare and process shipping documents, including purchase orders, packing lists, invoices, delivery notes, and customs documentation.

Track shipments and proactively resolve delivery delays, damages, and other logistics-related issues.

Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and logistics costs.

Communicate with clients to provide delivery updates and respond to logistics-related inquiries.

Assist in negotiating transportation rates and managing relationships with logistics service providers.

Requirements:

Higher Diploma or above

Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations, preferably within the furniture, trading, or retail industry.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Native Cantonese speaker with good command of written English and spoken Mandarin.
