Job summary

Elite Associates Europe Limited is seeking a Logistics Assistant Manager to drive APAC regional logistics operations for a luxury Maison. The role involves coordinating international freight, warehousing, and distribution, while ensuring compliance and cost efficiency across markets.

Logistics Assistant Manager (Retail, must have high-value experience)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Assistant Manager to join a prestigious luxury Maison and play a key role in supporting its growing APAC regional logistics operations.

This is a highly visible regional role, partnering closely with country teams across Asia Pacific and the Europe Headquarters, while working cross-functionally with Retail, Finance, IT and other stakeholders to deliver a seamless, efficient and compliant supply chain.

The Role

As Logistics Assistant Manager, you will support the implementation of the regional logistics strategy and drive operational excellence across the APAC network. You will have responsibility across international freight, warehousing, domestic distribution, trade compliance and inventory management, while managing relationships with key 3PL and 4PL partners.

You will also play an important role in identifying opportunities to improve lead times, increase supply chain agility, reduce costs and strengthen operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Logistics Operations

Support the implementation of the APAC logistics strategy in alignment with global objectives and regional business growth.

Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing end-to-end lead times, improving operational agility and mitigating supply chain risks.

Act as a key logistics liaison between APAC markets and France Headquarters, providing operational guidance and regional support.

3PL & 4PL Management

Support the selection, appointment and ongoing management of logistics partners across warehousing, freight and domestic distribution.

Establish and monitor SLAs and KPIs to ensure high service levels while maintaining cost efficiency.

Lead regular performance reviews, root-cause analysis and improvement initiatives with logistics partners.

End-to-End Logistics & Shipment Management

Coordinate regional logistics activities spanning international freight, warehouse inbound operations and final-mile delivery to retail stores.

Manage logistics requirements for key projects, including new store openings, furniture deliveries and the transportation of hazardous materials such as paints.

Drive shipment consolidation and intra-Asia inventory transfers to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs.

Trade Compliance & Inventory Management

Serve as a regional point of expertise for import and export compliance across APAC.

Coordinate import/export permits, customs clearance and brokerage activities.

Ensure high inventory accuracy across regional warehouses through effective cycle counting and annual stocktake processes.

Support warehouse capacity planning and WMS integration to ensure accurate, real-time inventory visibility.

Reporting, Analytics & Stakeholder Management

Provide management with regular reporting on logistics performance, including lead times, logistics costs and carrier performance.

Analyse and communicate logistics discrepancies, customs duties, tax expenses and other operational metrics.

Partner closely with Retail, IT, Finance and other stakeholders to ensure an integrated, efficient and compliant regional supply chain.

What We’re Looking For

Experience in regional logistics, supply chain or distribution, ideally within a complex international environment.

Strong understanding of international freight, warehousing, customs/trade compliance and inventory management.

Experience managing or working closely with 3PL/4PL providers, including SLA/KPI management and performance improvement.

Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a continuous improvement mindset.

Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders across different markets and cultures.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to work across both regional teams and global headquarters.

Experience within luxury, retail, fashion or another high-service consumer environment would be advantageous.
