Job summary

China Telecom Global in Hong Kong seeks an experienced data privacy lawyer to oversee the implementation and ongoing adherence to global data protection policies, ensuring alignment with GDPR, PIPL, and PDPO. You will draft, review and advise on privacy impact assessments, agreements and notices where appropriate.

You will proactively track regulatory developments, formulate actionable compliance strategies, and provide legal advice across data protection and related compliance matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Law or related subjects.
• At least 3 years’ PQE or legal experience in data/privacy law.
• Prior experience in TMT industry preferred.
• CIPP/E credential is a plus.
• Good command of spoken and written Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English is a must.
• Self-motivated, independent, organized, able to work under pressure, responsible and attentive to details.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
