Job summary

China Telecom Global Limited is seeking a data privacy attorney to oversee global data protection policy implementation and ensure compliance with GDPR, PIPL, and PDPO. You will draft notices, assess privacy impacts, and advise on related agreements. Strong English and Chinese language skills are required, with 3+ years PQE in privacy law.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law or related legal field.
• Minimum 3 years’ PQE in data/privacy law.
• TMT industry experience preferred.
• CIPP/E credential is a plus.
• Proficient in Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese) and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the implementation and ongoing adherence to the company’s global data protection policies.
• Draft, review and advise on privacy notices and agreements where appropriate.
• Proactively track global regulatory developments and formulate actionable compliance strategies.
• Provide legal advice on data protection and other compliance matters.
