Job summary

SOGO Hong Kong Co Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking an experienced Leasing Manager to lead the retail leasing operations, develop strategies, and oversee leasing administration for the group’s malls.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in developer retail/office leasing with strong negotiation skills, English and Chinese proficiency, and a proven track record in team leadership and market analysis. An attractive remuneration package and career development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Degree in surveying / marketing / business administration / real estate management or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of developer experience handling retail / F&B / office leasing with 2 years at managerial grade.
• Hands on experience with leasing systems.
• Sound knowledge on leasing practice and relevant regulations/ requirements.
• An aggressive and efficient team player with strong business acumen, effective problem solving, organizing and leadership skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills with strong ability to build rapport with tenants and vendors.
• Strong market sense and sound analytical mind.
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality tenant services, control of leasing activities, takeover / handover of premises and other ad hoc duties.
• Plan and implement leasing strategies and engage in business development for tenant mix improvement.
• Implement budgetary control and annual business plan of leasing matters to cope with the vision and goal of the Group.
• Explore new clients through business connections, relevant marketing events and cold calling.
• Coordinate with external and internal parties on layout planning, tenants’ fitting-out and refurbishment/ renovation works.
• Coordinate with external and internal parties for marketing and promotional collaborations for enhancing the mall's publicity.
• Establish business network and maintain effective relationship with tenants.
• Responsible for the planning and conduction of market research and analysis.
• Oversee the team on leasing administration, review leasing documents and reports compilation.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by superior.

• Experience in pre-opening program will be an advantage
