Job summary

The English Schools Foundation (ESF) in Hong Kong seeks a Learning Technology Teacher to empower staff and students to use technology to enhance learning. You will teach computational thinking, innovative design and maker‑centred projects across all year groups.

The role emphasizes inclusive practice, collaboration with teachers, assistants and parents, and ongoing professional development in edtech tools and pedagogy. 10.5‑month contract.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Education or a degree plus PGCE, or equivalent.
• Relevant teaching experience within a recognised educational organisation.
• Permanent Hong Kong resident or valid visa to work in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning for computational thinking, innovative design and maker‑centred learning across year groups.
• Partner with educators to evaluate digital content and inform procurement decisions.
• Pursue professional learning aligned with ISTE Standards.
• Use laser cutters and 3D printers and teach their usage to others.
• Engage in online communities around edtech.
