Job summary

CLSA is seeking an experienced Algo KDB Analyst to join our Algo team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will work closely with the Electronic Execution desk, Equity Traders and Technologists to deliver high quality, cutting edge solutions.

You will lead the development of a KDB+ analytics platform, handle real-time and historical market data, and collaborate with the quant team to build an analytics API for modelling and data analysis. Strong communication in English and Chinese is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in CS/SE or quantitative field.
• 10+ years of KDB experience with strong KDB/Q development skills.
• Strong understanding of KDB architecture and design best practices.
• In-depth understanding of Equities Market Data.
• Experience with data feeds (Refinitiv Elektron/RRDT).
• Experience in API design and post-trade analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead build out of the KDB+ based global analytics product for the Electronic offering.
• Oversee day-to-day operation and development of analytics product including real-time/historical market data and algo execution details.
• Collaborate with the quant team to develop a fully-featured analytics API for modelling and data analysis.
• Improve integration between analytics system and execution engine, model engine, UI and post-trade systems.
• Extend and improve the production data infrastructure and resolve operational issues.
