Job summary

Data Intellect Limited in Hong Kong is seeking a kdb+ developer to build high-performance time-series applications for leading capital markets clients. You’ll work with real-time and historical data, collaborate with business users, and contribute to scalable solutions.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, opportunities for paid training, and a clear progression pathway with biannual promotions. You will also have the chance to mentor junior developers and grow your technical leadership

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on kdb+ development experience.
• Solid understanding of q language.
• Experience working in Unix/Linux environments.
• Capital Markets experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with business users to define new application requirements.
• Developing, testing, and maintaining clean, performant code for client applications.
• Supporting project delivery alongside Project Managers and senior developers.
• Working as part of a close-knit team to deliver solutions on time and on budget.
• Analyzing large-scale time-series data and generating actionable reports.
• Mentoring junior developers and contributing to a culture of continuous learning.
