Job summary

Magic is hiring a senior full‑stack developer to architect, develop and deploy its core platform. You will work directly with the founders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions and establish the foundation for future growth.

You will build a modern customer‑facing site, backend services, pricing engines, APIs and CRM integrations, while using AI coding tools to accelerate delivery with high engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in full‑stack software development.
• Proven ability to build and deploy production‑quality web applications.
• Experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, cloud infrastructure and modern development workflows would be advantageous.
• Experience building SaaS platforms, fintech or insurtech products would be a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Architect, develop and deploy Magic's core technology platform.
• Build a modern, responsive website and customer‑facing application including product pages and quotation journeys.
• Design and build backend, databases and business logic for a secure, scalable architecture.
• Develop pricing engines, rules, APIs and third‑party integrations.
• Implement CRM/lead management and automated communications.
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development while maintaining standards.
• Develop admin tooling for products, pricing data and inquiries.
• Validate pricing against insurer data and maintain pricing accuracy.
• Define a deliverable roadmap and establish a maintainable foundation.
