Job summary

KOS International Limited in Hong Kong is building AI-enabled data products for insurers and fleet operators. You will design and maintain data pipelines that ingest telemetry from dashcams, fleet platforms and robot consoles, and expose insights via APIs and user interfaces.

You will own production infrastructure, including cloud environments, CI/CD, observability and security, and support third-party integrations while translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade data pipelines for telemetry and related data.
• Proven ability to design reliable, well-tested codebases for coding agents and AI-assisted workflows.
• Experience building APIs or data products for AI agents or automated decisioning is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate AI-enabled data products for insurers and fleet operators.

• Contribute to product direction as pricing engine evolves toward AI-ready infrastructure.

Job description

• Build and operate AI-enabled data products for insurers and fleet operators.
• Develop data pipelines that ingest, standardise and enrich telemetry from sources such as dashcams, fleet platforms and robot consoles.
• Build and maintain APIs, query endpoints and user interfaces that enable underwriters, customers and AI agents to access risk insights.
• Own production infrastructure, including cloud environments, CI/CD, observability, security, data residency and on-call support.
• Deliver and support third-party integrations, including fleet onboarding, vendor API changes and data-quality investigations.
• Build internal tools and automate recurring operational processes.
• Work directly with underwriters and fleet operators to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
• Contribute to an evolving product direction as the company develops its pricing engine into AI-ready infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3-5 years hands-on experience in backend, data-platform, full-stack or infrastructure engineering within a production environment
• Proven experience building production data pipelines, APIs, integrations and scalable cloud systems.
• Experience working with AI coding agents and AI-assisted development workflows.
• Ability to design reliable, well-tested codebases that enable safe and effective use of coding agents.
• Experience building APIs or data products for AI agents, LLM applications or automated decisioning workflows is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with data modelling, event-driven systems, geospatial or telemetry data is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, monitoring, incident management and production support
