Job summary

A regional IT services provider in Hong Kong is seeking a Lead Consultant in Communications Engineering. The role involves leading a team to implement communication systems for law enforcement, transportation, and digital signage projects. Candidates should have a degree in IT or related fields and at least 7 years of IT experience, including 3 years in presales and project management. Strong communication skills in English and Chinese, along with leadership and project management abilities, are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification IT experience.
• At least 3 years in presales and project management role.
• Experience in IPTV, Video on Demand, and related technologies.
• Experienced in rolling out projects in construction environment is preferred.
• Strong team leading and people management skill.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all level of users and team members.
• Initiative, customer-focused, independent and able to work under pressure.
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
• Holder of ITIL or PMP certification is preferable.

Job Description

• Lead a small technical team to implement, maintain and support various communication engineering related systems/projects – Law enforcement/Transportation/Airport related projects, Digital Signage, Video Analytics, Big Display, TV wall, Audio / Visual and Video Conference etc.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure works are executed in accordance to schedule and contract.
• Lead continuous improvement and embrace best practices in the industry.
• Drive high customer satisfaction by not meeting but exceeding customer experiences in delivery.
• Support pre-sales activities, and to take P&L ownership for CE related business

Job Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, MIS, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 7 years of post-qualification IT experiences, including at least 3 years of experiences in presales and project management role.
• Practical experience and knowledge on IPTV, Video on Demand, transportation/law enforcement/airport projects, RFID, Video Analytics, Location Based Way-finder, and business development experience will be an advantage
• Experienced in rolling out projects in construction environment is preferred.
