Job summary

Baguio Green Group offers integrated environmental management solutions and is looking for a dedicated team member to assist in soft landscaping projects, monitor progress, and coordinate on-site tasks across multiple sites in Hong Kong.

The role requires at least a diploma or degree in related fields, with 1 year of relevant experience. Strong communication, bilingual ability in English and Cantonese, and proficiency in MS Office are preferred, with AutoCAD and AI tools considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in arboriculture, horticulture, botany, forestry, environmental science, landscape management, biology is required with at least 1 year of relevant horticultural/arboricultural experience.
• Knowledge in soft landscaping, plant identification, tree risk assessment and project management is expected.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, ability to work under pressure, and proficiency in English and Cantonese are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in soft landscaping projects and site technical works to ensure smooth operations and quality of services.
• Monitor and follow up all aspects of projects, including submissions, method statements, progress reports, arboricultural reports, and other documentation.
• Coordinate on-site arboricultural and landscaping work with project administration, including night shifts if necessary.
• Conduct site inspections, attend meetings, and perform outdoor/site work and photography as required.
• Handle inquiries and maintain effective communication with internal and external parties.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Assist in soft landscaping project and site technical works to ensure smoothness of operations with quality of services
• Monitor and follow up all aspects of projects, including preparing project submissions, method statements, work progress reports, arboricultural report, and other project documentation
• Manage on-site coordination of arboricultural and soft landscaping work with project administrative arrangements including nightshift, if necessary
• Conduct site inspections and attend meetings, carry out outdoor work, site work photo taking are frequently required
• Handle enquiries and MAINTAIN effective communication with internal and external parties
• Perform ad-hoc tasks and other responsibilities assigned by supervisors

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree holder in arboriculture, horticulture, botany, forestry, environmental science, landscape management, biology, and any other related disciplines with minimum 1-year relevant experience in horticultural and arboricultural works
• Knowledge in soft landscaping, plant identification, tree risk assessment, and project management
• Multi-tasking, good team player with interpersonal skills; able to deal with diversity of people and to work under pressure
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese
• Proficient in MS Office applications, knowledge in AutoCAD and AI tool is a plus
• Candidates possess qualification registration with remarkable performance records thus more experience, will be considered as Assistant Landscape Officer
