Job summary

TalentQuest HR Limited is assisting a leading private banking client in Hong Kong with a KYC onboarding role. You will prepare and complete client onboarding for UHNW individuals, trusts and intermediaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You will review KYC documentation, conduct name screening checks, highlight red flags, and support relationship managers with credit reviews and remediation projects in a fast-paced private banking environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in a related field.
• Minimum 1 year PB KYC experience.
• Strong understanding of private banking policies and products.
• Hands-on remediation and process-improvement experience.
• Private banking background is an advantage.
• Fluent in English and Cantonese; Mandarin helpful.

Our client is now seeking for energetic and highly motivated individuals to join their team.
Responsibilities

Preparation of private client account onboarding

Responsible for completing account onboarding of prospects including but not limited for UHNW individuals, trusts and financial intermediaries.

Preparing and checking the forms and relevant KYC documentations submission and initial assessment of name screenings & hits, taking appropriate approvals and timely submission of the case.

Identify and highlight any potential red flags appropriately

Liaise with relationship managers and counterparts for issues and client related deficiencies identified during the onboarding process.

Conduct AML periodic reviews of existing relationship

Assist Relationship Managers to submit and complete credit reviews, include creation of credit reviews in system, perform checks for completeness and accuracy of credit reviews before submission, liaise with Credit Risk Manager to follow up on queries, assist Relationship Managers for relevant approval and timely submission of credit reviews.

Liaise with relationship managers for issues and deficiencies identified during reviews

Requirements

University Degree Holder

Minimum 1 years of PB KYC related experience

Strong understanding in financial products, policies and procedures in private banking. Hands-on remediation project and process improvement experience

Private banking background is an advantage

Good command of written and spoken in English and Cantonese, Mandarin
