Job summary

Rachelle Esperida in Hong Kong is looking for an experienced kitchen designer to turn clients’ visions into beautiful, functional spaces that fit their budget and timeline. You will meet with clients, gather requirements, and translate them into compelling 2D/3D plans with cabinetry layouts, lighting, and materials.

You will help choose cabinets, countertops, flooring, appliances, and fixtures, then prepare accurate cost estimates and manage budgets.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in kitchen, cabinet, or interior design.
• Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, 20-20 Design.
• English-speaking with strong listening and presentation skills to explain designs to clients.
• Ability to calculate measurements, costs, and materials accurately.
• High attention to detail to avoid costly mistakes.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand their needs and design preferences.
• Create 2D/3D design plans, including cabinetry layouts, lighting, and material selections.
• Help clients choose cabinets, countertops, flooring, appliances, and fixtures.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates and manage project budgets.
• Coordinate with contractors, installers, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Present design proposals and close sales effectively.
• Conduct on-site measurements to ensure accurate installation.
