Job summary

WSH Experts Pte Ltd invites applications for a Kitchen Assistant role at our school campus in Hong Kong. You will support Canteen/Food & Nutrition activities by preparing ingredients, tidying kitchens, and ensuring safety standards.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers with lesson materials, stock checks, and ad hoc duties during term breaks, with a focus on cleanliness and readiness for examinations.

Responsibilities

• Clean and tidy 2 NFS kitchens, food preparation and needlework rooms.
• Prepare ingredients and equipment for teachers to conduct Food & Nutrition activities and practical work in the NFS kitchens daily.
• Prepare students' ingredients and materials before lesson.
• Assist in checking and storing of goods.
• Assist in stock taking of equipment in the NFS kitchens, food preparation needlework rooms.
• Assist to ensure safety in the kitchen eg switching off of gas valves, safe keeping of sharp objects such as knives.
• Assist in ensuring the kitchen is ready for N and O levels National examinations.
• Assist in doing major spring cleaning of 2 NFS kitchens, food preparation needlework rooms during the June and December school holidays.
• Any ad hoc duties assigned as and when required based on the needs of the school.
