Data Intellect is seeking a Senior kdb+ Engineer to deliver high-performance, scalable solutions for leading financial institutions. You will lead technical delivery, design robust architectures, and collaborate with quants, traders and analysts to translate business needs into efficient code.

You will mentor junior developers, own the full lifecycle from development to maintenance, and drive innovation in kdb+, q, and related tech.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on kdb+ development with deep knowledge of q and time-series data.
Experience designing and implementing kdb+ architectures and scaling systems in production.
Strong Unix/Linux background and scripting capabilities.
Demonstrated technical leadership and decision-making in fast-paced projects.
Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in capital markets or investment banking domain.

Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery on client projects, setting quality and performance standards.
Design and implement robust kdb+ architectures handling large time-series data.
Collaborate with quants, traders, and analysts to translate business needs into code.
Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers for technical excellence.
Own the full development lifecycle: develop, test, support, and maintain client applications.
Drive innovation by staying ahead in kdb+, q, and emerging technologies.
