Job summary

QIMA in Hong Kong is seeking a laboratory technician to support the quality testing activities across consumer goods sectors. You will implement the management system and ISO/IEC 17025, conduct testing to international standards, prepare reports, assist with sample handling, and help maintain calibration plans under senior staff.

Candidates with physics or engineering degree, familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025, and English/Chinese fluency are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Higher Diploma or Degree in Physics or Engineering.
Familiar with ISO/IEC 17025 and accreditation requirements.
Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
0-1 years of experience in a physical testing laboratory with HOKLAS or other international accreditation bodies.
Experience in testing laboratories is highly desirable.
Fluent in written and spoken English and Chinese.
Analytical mind and logical thinking.

Responsibilities

Implement the management system and ISO/IEC 17025
Conduct testing per international standards such as ASTM F963, EN 71, ISO 8124 and etc.
Prepare and organize technical testing results and reports
Work with Sample Control during sample handling
Carry out maintenance and calibration plan of the laboratory
Involve in testing capability development under supervision of senior staff
