Job summary

GPTX Investment Management Limited is seeking a junior analyst in Hong Kong. The role welcomes candidates with zero to three years of experience and focuses on covering companies and sectors, maintaining models and data, and turning findings into actionable notes for decision-making.

Attitude and ownership are prioritized; training covers modelling conventions, coverage processes and systems. Strong English, Cantonese/Mandarin, and Excel skills are expected, with Bloomberg/FactSet Wind

Qualifications

Fresh graduates encouraged to apply; zero to three years experience accepted.
A degree in finance, economics, accounting or quantitative discipline; other backgrounds considered with numerical ability.

Responsibilities

Cover assigned companies and sectors: review filings, results and announcements, track the numbers.
Build and maintain financial models, including forecasts and valuation, with assumptions documented.
Run screens and data analysis to generate ideas, maintain the team's data sets to a standard the team can rely on.
Draft investment memoranda, earnings notes and material for internal meetings and client requests.
Monitor existing holdings and identify changes in fundamentals or news of significance.
Support due diligence on new ideas and funds, including data collection and organisation.
Undertake ad hoc research and projects as required by the team.
