Dymon Asia Capital in Hong Kong is seeking a Junior Equity Trader with a strong tech focus to join the centralized execution desk. You will develop AI-driven tools, automate desk processes, and support senior traders across Asia.

You will build APIs, analyze execution data, and collaborate with Portfolio Managers and colleagues in Hong Kong, Singapore and London. The role emphasizes Python, ML tooling, and a pathway to a trading position within a dynamic, global firm.

Qualificações

• Proficiency in Python with pandas and SQL.
• Experience with AI tools and LLM APIs.
• Experience with APIs and data pipelines.
• Degree in CS/Engineering/Math/Physics or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Git and software best practices.

Responsabilidades

• Develop tools to automate desk processes, including order entry and end-of-day reporting.
• Build, maintain and improve AI-based tools used in daily execution.
• Analyse execution data, including transaction cost analysis and broker performance.
• Integrate trading systems, market data and broker feeds through APIs.
• Support senior traders in executing Asia equity flow across cash equities, program trades, and futures.
• Monitor orders and limits intraday and escalate issues promptly.
• Work with portfolio managers to identify workflow improvements and deliver solutions.
• Coordinate with Technology, Operations and Compliance on system changes.
