About the Role

We are looking for a proactive, highly adaptable Junior Business Analyst to join our expanding team in Hong Kong. Because this is a highly visible, client-facing role, we are seeking an approachable, personable individual who can confidently and positively represent Altech in front of our valued customers.

In this role, you will serve as the essential bridge between our clients, design team, and developers. Your primary focus will be turning complex business requirements into clear, actionable technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for clients. Lead customer-facing meetings, gather business requirements, and maintain friendly, professional, and highly communicative relationships with all stakeholders.
• Requirements Scoping: Translate client business needs into clear user stories, process workflows, and detailed functional specifications for the engineering team.
• Project Tracking: Support the management of sprint backlogs, track project milestones, and ensure timely delivery of solutions using agile management tools like Jira, Monday.com, or Plane.
• AI Integration: Proactively utilize Generative AI tools (such as LLMs) to streamline daily workflows, improve project documentation, and accelerate research processes.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely and collaboratively with technical developers and creative designers to ensure the final product aligns perfectly with client expectations and defined project scope.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience (Career Switchers Welcome!): Entry-level experience in business analysis or a related client-facing role. If you are coming from Digital Marketing, Graphic/UI Design, or a similar creative field, we highly encourage you to apply (fresh graduates with strong portfolios are also welcome).
• Professional Presence: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with a proven ability to communicate clearly, build lasting trust, and maintain a positive attitude with customers.
• Language Proficiency: Professional working proficiency (written and spoken) in both Cantonese and English is required to communicate effectively with local Hong Kong stakeholders and international partners.
• Technical Stack: Hands-on familiarity with Agile project management software (Jira, Monday.com, and/or Plane) and an understanding of software development lifecycles.
• AI Literacy: Comfortable utilizing modern AI tools to boost daily efficiency and a willingness to explore new technologies to work smarter.

Bonus Qualifications

• Design Background: Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles, digital aesthetics, or user journey mapping.
• Figma Experience: Familiarity with navigating Figma to review wireframes, inspect design components, or build basic prototypes alongside the creative team.
