Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with Japanese-speaking institutional, corporate, or high-net-worth clients.
• Execute buy and sell orders for equities, fixed income, FX, commodities, or other financial instruments.
• Provide market insights, research summaries, and portfolio reviews in Japanese and English.
• Identify and onboard new Japanese-speaking clients to grow the business.

In this role, you will manage relationships with Japanese‑speaking clients, execute trades, and provide market insights tailored to their investment goals. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of financial markets, strong relationship‑management skills, and the cultural competence necessary to navigate Japanese business environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for Japanese‑speaking institutional, corporate, or high‑net‑worth individual (HNWI) clients.
• Trade Execution: Execute buy and sell orders for equities, fixed income, foreign exchange (FX), commodities, or other financial instruments accurately and efficiently.
• Market Insights: Provide regular updates, research summaries, and portfolio reviews to clients in both fluent Japanese and English.
• Business Development: Identify and onboard new Japanese‑speaking clients to expand the firm’s market footprint.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all trading activities and client communications strictly adhere to local and international regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Language Proficiency: Native or professional‑grade fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or equivalent) and professional proficiency in English. Excellent written and verbal communication in both languages is required.
