Responsibilities
- Setting up governance model of IT solutions
- Advising the business in gathering of systems requirements and design of application solution
- Reviewing design of application programs and design complex programs
- Advising on data conversion approach, data preparation and conversion execution
- Advising on development of testing approach, testing plan and testing execution
- Advising on development of operational documentation
- Performing complex system problem analysis
- Ensuring that IT solutions comply with standards AXA architectural frameworks and standards and Security standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in IT, computer science or a related discipline is preferred.
- Considerate experience in a Software Engineer role in Insurance Domain.
- Over 8+ years of full life‑cycle experience in analysis, architecture, design documentation and development.
- Strong analytical capability and skills (e.g., database architecture design, business intelligence application configuration, MIS report development, etc.)
- Ability to make insightful, successful decisions.
- Competent delivering results through ownership & drive.
- The ability to think creatively and ensure services meet stakeholder needs and are fit for purpose.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to gather, synthesise and analyse data and draw logical conclusions.
- Well‑organised and results‑driven individual.
- Self‑motivated with the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
