Michael Page (Hong Kong) is recruiting for a System Engineer based in Hong Kong Island. You will maintain core IT systems, monitor performance, and troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, while documenting work clearly and supporting planned changes.

The role offers a permanent contract with a competitive monthly salary of HKD 30,000 to 35,000 and a potential one-month bonus, with emphasis on reliability and service availability.

Qualifications

• Practical experience maintaining IT systems and resolving technical issues.
• Knowledge of hardware, software and network troubleshooting.
• Ability to monitor system performance and respond to service incidents.
• Experience with system installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Ability to document technical work clearly and accurately.
• Confidence working with colleagues to address technology requests.

Responsabilités

• Maintain core IT systems to support reliable daily operations.
• Monitor system performance and identify issues before they affect users.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and network-related incidents.
• Manage system configuration and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Install, update and maintain approved technology platforms and equipment.
• Respond to technical requests and provide clear solutions to users.
• Work with Technology colleagues to resolve system issues and improve service availability.
• Support planned system changes to minimise disruption to the organisation.
