Job summary

JMS Singapore Pte Ltd seeks an IT support professional in Hong Kong to provide desktop support to end users and maintain Unix, Linux, and Windows environments. You will manage Enterprise SAN/NAS storage, firewall/antispam, and perform backup, restoration, and DR procedures. Daily health checks and adherence to policies are required.

The role also covers LAN/WAN support and ad-hoc duties, combining technical depth with a service-minded approach to keep users productive.

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline.
Good knowledge in VM Ware and Windows Server environments.
Strong analytical and technical skills, with a service-oriented mindset and good problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide desktop support to end users.
Administer and maintain Unix, Linux and Windows, VW & Enterprise SAN/NAS storage, Firewall & Antispam.
Maintain and perform backup, restore & disaster recovery activities and procedures.
Provide support for corporate LAN and WAN networks.
Perform daily system health check to proactively identify and prevent for major system issues.
Ensure compliance with established controls, policies, and procedures.
Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
