Job summary

Classy Wheeler Limited in Kowloon Bay is seeking an IT Support Engineer focused on EUC and hardware provisioning for a 12-month contract. You will coordinate laptop specs, OS deployment, and access needs for staff and contractors, ensuring devices are ready for project work.

You will partner with cyber security to enforce baselines, manage endpoint protections, VLANs, and printer/scanner deployments across sites, while maintaining precise asset tracking and handover records.

Qualifications

• Hold a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Hands-on End-User Computing support, laptop provisioning, and peripheral hardware deployment experience.
• Knowledge of OS deployment, endpoint protection, disk encryption, and patch management.
• Understanding of basic network security concepts including NAC and VLAN configurations.
• Strong communication and organization to coordinate with contractors and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with asset tracking and structured handover documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate laptop specifications, app requirements, and system access for staff and contractors.
• Install software, configure systems, test, and deploy for domain-joined and non-domain devices.
• Collaborate with cyber security to enforce baseline security standards and patch compliance.
• Implement network access controls and VLAN segregation for non-domain devices where applicable.
• Manage end-to-end setup, config, testing, and deployment of printers and scanners across sites.
• Maintain IT asset records and execute formal handover procedures with validation.

Job Description

• Coordinate laptop specifications, application requirements, and system access needs for internal staff and project contractors.
• Execute software installation, system configuration, testing, and deployment for both domain-joined and non-domain devices.
• Collaborate with the cyber security team to define and enforce baseline security standards, including endpoint protection, disk encryption, and patch compliance.
• Implement network access controls and VLAN segregation for non-domain devices where applicable.
• Manage end-to-end setup, configuration, testing, and deployment of printers, photocopiers, and scanners across project sites, artificial island locations, and corporate offices.
• Maintain accurate IT asset tracking and inventory management records while executing formal handover procedures, including user acceptance and security validation.

Job Requirements

• Hold a diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Possess hands-on experience in End-User Computing support, laptop provisioning, and peripheral hardware deployment.
• Demonstrate knowledge of operating system deployment, endpoint detection and response tools, disk encryption, and patch management.
• Show understanding of basic network security concepts, including network access control and VLAN configurations.
• Exhibit strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate effectively with project contractors and internal teams.
