Job summary

Vanderlande Industries Hong Kong Limited is seeking a Software Engineer I to support Baggage Handling System software at Hong Kong International Airport (T1). You will monitor health, troubleshoot incidents, and collaborate with vendors and airport operations to ensure system availability.

The role requires IT operations experience, Linux/Windows proficiency, and familiarity with Oracle WebLogic. This position may involve on-site and remote support during critical operations and scheduled

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in software/system support or IT operations.
Experience in airport or industrial automation systems preferred.
Strong knowledge of Linux/Windows Server environments.

Responsibilities

Monitor system health and performance of BHS software, databases, and interfaces.
Investigate and troubleshoot incidents using logs and traces; coordinate with vendors or teams.
Plan and execute system maintenance, patches, and upgrades with project teams.
Review database logs and middleware to support troubleshooting and performance.
Document incidents, changes, and performance reports for management.
Provide on-site or remote support during critical operations or maintenance windows.
Communicate with Helpdesk, operations, and development teams to resolve cross-domain issues.
