Job Title: IT Specialist (Integration & Automation)
Introduction
We are looking for a skilled IT Specialist (Integration & Automation) to join our MNC client's enterprise systems team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining integration workflows, automation solutions and low-code business applications that support our core commercial operations.
You will work closely with business analysts, application owners, and external trading partners to ensure seamless data flow across our ERP, cloud platforms, and B2B ecosystems. Your work will directly impact Order-to-Cash processes - from customer order intake through to invoicing and payment reconciliation.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone who enjoys solving real-world business problems through clean integration design, reliable automation, and practical use of modern integration platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise integrations connecting ERP systems, cloud applications, SaaS platforms, databases, and trading partners
- Build scalable and reusable integration solutions using Boomi (primary) or equivalent iPaaS tools
- Develop and support RESTful and SOAP web services, and handle data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and flat files
- Implement secure integration patterns including API authentication, authorization, and data protection standards
- Support B2B integrations utilizing X12 EDI standards and communication protocols
- Troubleshoot EDI mapping, transformation, and trading partner connectivity issues
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand and optimize Order-to-Cash processes: purchase orders, advanced ship notices, invoicing, billing, and payment processing
- Support integration requirements across supply chain, logistics, finance, and customer operations
- Develop, maintain, and enhance UiPath automation workflows
- Support, enhance, and integrate low-code and SaaS business applications such as Power Platform, OutSystems, Smartsheet, and others
- Participate in Agile development methodologies including sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives
- Use Azure DevOps and Git for source control, release management, and work tracking
- Support CI/CD deployment processes and DevOps best practices
- Participate in code reviews and promote development standards and governance
- Create and maintain technical design documentation, deployment procedures, and support documentation
- Troubleshoot and resolve production integration issues and perform root cause analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of enterprise integration development experienc
- Preferably with hands-on experience with Boomi
- Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications and integrations
- Experience working within Agile software development environment
- Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash business processes
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- REST APIs and SOAP Web Services
- XML, JSON, XSLT
- SQL and relational databases
- File-based integrations (CSV, flat files)
- Solid understanding of EDI X12 transaction sets and B2B protocols
- Experience supporting low-code platforms such as Power Platform, OutSystems, or similar
- Proficiency with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD concepts
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong documentation and organizational skills
