Job summary

Headsearch21 Consultancy Ltd seeks an IT Project Manager with strong manufacturing ERP background to lead end-to-end digital projects in Hong Kong. You will manage SDLC, coordinate with IT and business users, and supervise developers to deliver system changes on schedule.

The role requires at least 5 years' project leadership in manufacturing, ERP/EDI integrations, and proficiency in SAP/Navision/SQL/C#/Java. Epicor experience is a plus, travel to PRC may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' solid experience in running digital projects.
• Manufacturing background with ERP system experience is a MUST.
• Degree in Computer Science / Information Technologies or related Higher Diploma.
• Experience with SAP, ERP, Navision, SQL, VB.net, C#, Java, XML, EDI, API is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the SDLC from requirements collection to testing and deployment.
• Prepare functional/technical specifications and user training materials.
• Lead a team of developers and coordinate with IT and business users.
• Establish design standards and best practices for system development.
• Support SIT and UAT to ensure systems meet requirements.
• Explore new technologies and drive innovation in development tools and processes.

IT Project Manager (60K) / (Sr) System Analyst (40-48K) **exp in manufacturing**

Our clientis now seeking for high caliber candidate to fill up the following position:

(1) IT Project Manager (60K)

Involved in the entire system development life cycle (SDLC), including collection of user requirements, system analysis, system design, system development and testing

Prepare technical documentation and provide user training

Control the development and deliverables quality

Develop new EDI Maps / Processes / IDOCs, manage and implement on EDI implementation

Manage projects with Trading Partners and Internal developers

Establish design standard and work on system development with best practices adhere to system development standards

Propose on system development strategy and planning. Evaluate and recommend new IT products and services

Degree Computer Science/ Information Technologies

Minimum 5 years' solid experience in running digital projects

Knowledge and skill of the following technologies: SAP, ERP, Navision, SQL, VB.net, C#, Java, web page and apps development, with OA, MES knowledge is an advantage

With manufacturing background & exp in ERP system is a MUST

Exp in Epicor is a bonus

Good knowledge in Manufacturing products and workflow

PRC travel is required

Support by project manager / team lead to coordinate with IT and business users for realization of system change and align deployment schedule

Lead / supervise a team of developers to develop internal systems / projects according to user requirements

Prepare functional and technical specifications

Conduct SIT and support UAT to ensure the enhanced systems meet the requirement specifications

Provide day-to-day support on system applications

Explore new technologies and drive for innovation, especially new development tools, new algorithmic code, bring better solution for existing environment

Higher Diploma or Degree in Computer Science / Information Technologies

At least 5 years of experiences in application development

Familiar with C#, VB/VB.net, XML, EDI, API

Knowledge on EDI message standards (EDIFACT) is a plus

SQL and database knowledge

With manufacturing background & exp in ERP system is a MUST

Exp in Epicor is a bonus
