Job summary

PERSOL is seeking an IT Project Engineer to support project managers and engineering teams in delivering IT systems on client sites. You will handle system setup, database configuration, cybersecurity tasks, and deployment across Windows-based environments.

The role requires 2+ years of IT/infrastructure experience, familiarity with SQL tools, and ability to work independently within a team, on Ang Mo Kio project sites and client locations. Applicants should be prepared for structured work hours.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, IT Security, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT systems, infrastructure, or project implementation.
• Experience in project coordination or system deployment is preferred.
• Knowledge of database management and SQL tools.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and vulnerability assessment.
• Experience with Windows OS, virtualization, or hypervisors.
• Understanding of network configuration and switches.
• Advantage if have SQL Management Studio and database handling, basic software development knowledge, experience with access control systems (CCTV, card readers, gantries, key management systems) and redundancy technologies (failover clustering, NIC teaming).
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
