Job summary

Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency is seeking an IT operations professional to lead purchasing activities, vendor coordination, quotations, and contract renewals while ensuring compliant procurement processes.

You will administer cloud services, monitor availability, performance, security, and cost optimization; manage licenses and backups; maintain asset records; and provision access with accurate, timely reporting to management.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in IT, CS, or related discipline.
• 1+ year in IT operations, administration, or support.
• Knowledge of IT procurement, vendor management and contracts.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar cloud platforms.
• Familiarity with software licensing and subscription management.
• Understanding backup, recovery and data protection practices.
• Experience maintaining hardware and software asset inventories.
• Knowledge of user account provisioning and access management.
• Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination.
• 2-year contract offered and subject to renewal.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT purchasing activities, vendor coordination, quotations, and contract renewals.
• Administer cloud services and monitor availability, performance, security, and cost optimization.
• Manage software licenses, subscriptions, renewals, and compliance records.
• Verify backup completion, review reports, and resolve backup-related issues.
• Maintain accurate asset records and conduct regular inventory audits.
• Provision and deprovision accounts, devices, licenses, and system access within agreed timelines.
• Maintain operational records and prepare reports for management review.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT processes, efficiency, and service delivery.
